Robert Warshauer is Managing Director, Co-Head of Imperial Capital’s Restructuring Advisory Practice, and Head of the firm’s New York Investment Banking Group.

Mr. Warshauer has over 25 years of experience in financings, mergers and acquisitions, and restructurings. He has served as the investment banker and financial advisor on numerous transactions in a wide range of industries, including retail/consumer, business services, manufacturing/industrial, media and technology, energy, and transportation.

Mr. Warshauer has also served as CEO and President of a branded retail business with over 500 locations and 5,000 employees, CEO of an international business services and manufacturing company with operations in 16 countries, Chairman of a software security company with operations in the US and Asia, and was President and a member of the Board of Directors of a publicly traded semi-conductor technology company.

Mr. Warshauer’s unique experience as an investment banker and chief executive officer has enabled him to establish a private investment business to opportunistically acquire underperforming companies from sponsors and turnaround the operations while teaming with management.

Mr. Warshauer received his M.B.A. from New York University and his B.S.B.A. from Bucknell University. Mr. Warshauer is a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Bankruptcy Institute, frequent speaker at industry conferences, and often quoted in business publications. Mr. Warshauer currently serves on several corporate and charitable Boards of Directors.
